Assessment

Thank you for your interest in learning outcomes measurement and assessment. This is your resource for support in your role in the university to document learning gains.
Learning outcomes assessment supports learning by helping to articulate values, measure how well programs are living up to those values, and share results so that information can be used to improve program quality. Learning outcomes research is a shared responsibility between student and professor, professor and administrator, and university and community. The goal of learning outcomes research is to help the university continuously grow and improve through strong assessment and communication across the levels of the university.
Assessment at Wayne State University is supported by many different units. For a summary of these units, or to have your area added to the list, please refer to http://undergrad.wayne.edu/learning_outcome.php .
